The walk to Tatuamunha beach is beautiful, and the beach itself is lovely, clean, and nearly deserted. The bungalow was cozy and spacious, with great decor, a comfortable bed, a clean pool, and everything felt thoughtfully done. It can be tricky to find, but asking around gets you there. The bungalow number could use a sign. A top experience.

I came to Bangalô Uaná in May 2024, booking through Airbnb. The photos showed the property accurately, the bed and bath linens were good quality, and the outdoor kitchen had the basics for a short stay. But I had come for peace and quiet and found a construction site instead. At least three houses in the condominium were being built, two right in front of the bungalow. From 8 a.m. until 5 p.m., there was noise from tools, machinery, hammering, and construction workers. What upset me most was that the host never told me about this, either before or after I booked. Knowing about it, I wouldn't have chosen this accommodation. Maybe the stay would have been better at another time, but I wouldn't stay here again. I had to post my review here on Google because Airbnb removed my review at the host's request, saying the information didn't meet the platform's rules or anyone's interests.

The bungalow was a lovely, relaxing retreat, with a charming feel and all the amenities I could have wanted. It's in a spectacular spot, surrounded by nature and with easy beach access. The host was so welcoming and helpful, making sure everything went smoothly. My vacation was incredible, and I couldn't have picked a better place. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic, relaxing getaway.

We were charmed when we first arrived. The rooms really are beautiful. That feeling didn't last long, though. During the Covid-19 pandemic, neither the owner nor the staff wore masks, even though they were required by law, especially at a place that hosts paying guests. On the third day, we were walking in the gardens with our gentle Golden Retriever puppy when a cat with kittens attacked us to protect them. There were no signs saying the area was off limits. The bite on my leg cut a vein, and I had several scratches. I went to the health center in Porto de Pedra. We asked Sr. Franz for the cat's vaccination card, which its owner is required to provide, especially at a place serving paying guests, but he never gave it to us, then or later. Back in our home city, I had to get TWO RABIES VACCINE DOSES at a public health center during the pandemic. It was a traumatic end to the vacation, and Sr. Franz Rudolf R Rodenburg showed us no help or empathy. He also took a while to send videos meant to show the animal was healthy, so I could avoid a third dose and rabies serum. The doctor at the health center asked that the cat be monitored for 10 days to rule out rabies, which is fatal. Legal proceedings have already been filed. Good luck to anyone who decides to stay here. Respect for life comes first!
