The location made getting around easy. It’s quick to reach passarela do álcool or the ferry to Arraial d'ajuda, and getting there from the airport was easy too. The hostel was peaceful and felt safe for women traveling alone. The doors use codes, and there are security cameras. There’s no TV in the room, which I actually liked, but there is a minibar, plus a locker for luggage and personal items. You need to bring your own padlock for the valuables lockers in the living room. Everything was very clean, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The sheets were clean and smelled fresh, and I had great roommates. The kitchen is available for using the stove and utensils, which I mostly used for breakfast. There’s also a dining area with a lovely window overlooking the street. Paula, who does the cleaning, was very helpful with questions and tips. I already miss my little home for a few days and Porto Seguro.

Great value and a convenient location. You can walk around the city center, and it’s especially handy for crossing the ferry to the beaches in Arraial or spending the evening at Passarela da Cultura. Check-in is fully automated, so the process is quick, and the place feels very secure. We also felt welcome thanks to the friendly staff member who helps with cleaning. She gave us several useful tips for getting around town.

Being new to hostels, I booked a private room and was surprised by how peaceful it was. It felt like home, and I could properly relax. The location made getting around easy: Passarela da Cultura and the ferry are both very close, and shops, a market, mototaxis, and restaurants are all nearby in the center. I’d definitely stay again and recommend it.

I spent two days here on my first solo trip to Porto Seguro and felt very welcome. The place was clean and peaceful, and the location was excellent. Many thanks to Paula and Michele for making me feel at home. I’ll definitely come back.

The shared kitchen has a great range of utensils, and the hostel was quiet, organized, and well located. It’s also very good value. If someone expects room service or a sea-view window, they might want to spend more on a resort. Porto Seguro has places for different tastes and budgets. I’d gladly return next time. Thanks to the owners.
