The staff were as nice as the locals, who are generally calm and gentle, and the hotel is very central for getting around. The nearby beach isn't great for swimming and is difficult to walk on, though. I think the hotel has potential, but its service and facilities feel very outdated and the policies need an update. There are some nice things: it's clean, with a pool, sauna, snooker table, garden hammocks, and even a couple of house cats. But breakfast is always late, and the only vegan choices are coffee, juice, jam, and two kinds of fruit. I'm not sure the bread is plant-based. If you aren't a parent, you can't heat food in the kitchen. The TVs are obsolete, so you can't cast anything. Music plays all the time, with live music three times a week, which isn't great if you need to rest. You also can't check out the night before. The mattresses are old and far too soft.
