Good value if you just need a restful night's sleep, and there's private parking too.

The room wasn't clean when I arrived. The towel looked like a floor rag, and I'm sure the blanket hadn't been washed since the last guest. I picked this hotel because I thought it was close to my appointment. Booking showed it as a block away, but when I got to town and checked the distance with Uber, it seemed much farther. I wondered if I'd read it wrong, but went anyway. At the hotel, reception confirmed the address was wrong. By then I was there, so I stayed.

The best part of my stay was the Wi-Fi. The night clerk initially gave me the wrong connection details, but after I woke up, another employee gave me the right network. It was fast, reception was strong, and after the first login my devices connected automatically. The staff and the hotel's location near the shopping mall were also positives. The rest was a rough stay, especially the cleanliness, sleep, and breakfast. I was left with just one towel for most of the week, with no replacement, which capped off the experience. My booking had been confirmed by email, so I assumed everything was set. When I arrived in the early hours, the employee at reception said they had no record of it. There was a room available, so I paid and went to bed. In the morning, another employee told me they don't even check reservations made through booking sites. If the hotel had been full, I don't know what I would have done. The room had a split air conditioner, minibar, TV with only free-to-air channels, a double bed, a hat rack, and a small unit for luggage and clothes. There was just one hanger, and longer shirts dragged on the low rail and got creased at the hem. The appliances worked well, although the air conditioner needed cleaning. There were plenty of outlets, but they were awkwardly placed, and I had to move the TV plug to connect my laptop. A narrow, short desk was close to the minibar, which was handy. The minibar wasn't stocked, which I prefer, but it had few options, and nearby supermarkets were far away. No cups were provided. The bathroom was extremely narrow. I hit my shin on the toilet whenever I used the shower. The sink had no hot water. The hard plastic toilet seat was cracked and hurt to sit on. The shower had a good hot or cold temperature, but although soap was provided, it wasn't replenished, and there was no shampoo. Breakfast was very basic: three kinds of bread, ham and mozzarella, powdered juice, milk, coffee, and some fruit. There was also a cockroach. After seeing one, I didn't feel comfortable eating breakfast there again. The mattress was extremely hard, and the pillows were flat and flimsy. One pillowcase had mold on it. At least there was a mattress protector, if it was washed regularly, and the fitted sheet stayed in place. The phone didn't work. The wheeled chairs could have been more comfortable and quieter. The windows wouldn't open, so the room couldn't air out. With no ventilation and so much mold, it felt like a health risk. The blackout curtain was covering a completely moldy air conditioner pipe. Another curtain on the window didn't block the sun as well, and a shaft of sunlight fell right on the bed, which really bothered me. Housekeeping came every other day, despite the booking site saying it was daily, and there was no service on Sundays. I started with two towels, but after the first cleaning one was taken and not replaced. I had to use the same single towel from Monday to Friday. Since they don't provide a face towel, I think two towels should be the bare minimum. The first cleaning was decent. The second, on Wednesday, was just a quick pass: they made the bed and wiped the floor, but didn't even touch the toilet. The hotel was empty, so being busy wasn't an excuse. No wonder I was sharing the room and breakfast area with cockroaches. I've stayed in hotels for years and rarely seen cleanliness treated with such disregard.

The staff were always helpful, and the breakfast was fair. The room was very clean, with the air conditioner, TV, internet, and everything else working, and the shower had great pressure. It's well located, close to the shopping mall and other things. I didn't notice whether it was accessible, and the parking is across the street. I'd recommend it to anyone.
