The location is great for Cumuruxatiba, and the air conditioning worked well. The curtains weren’t good at blocking light, so the sun came into our room early and it was hard to control the brightness. When we tried the pool, it didn’t seem clean, and the kids said the water irritated their eyes.

The hotel is close to the town center and offers good value, making it one of the better places to stay in Cumuruxatiba. Breakfast is included and simple, with a good range of choices. The staff are very attentive and courteous. The pool water is so warm it seems heated. The pool bar is served by the beach bar, though sometimes nobody is there; call out and someone comes over. There’s also a sand court that does the job, a games room, and a kids’ area. Across the street, the beachfront bar is associated with the hotel.

We stayed in a sea view room with family. The service and facilities were good, and I thought breakfast was very good too. You can order tapioca and omelets made fresh. I only wish the hotel had a restaurant, since it doesn’t. The pool is where guests gather after returning from the beach, and it fills up as people stay there until dusk. It’s a really nice atmosphere.

This was my second January in a row here, and the hotel is wonderful. One thing I’d change is the breakfast area. It really needs air conditioning, partly because of the heat, but especially to control the flies that are all over the place.
