Pousada Caju do Mato

We had a lovely time here as a family. The location is good, the pool was delightful, and the inn is clean, pretty, and nicely decorated. Everyone was attentive, and breakfast was delicious, with typical Minas Gerais food cooked on a wood stove. I’d suggest cleaning the rooms daily instead of every three days, since we got them dirty more often by coming straight back from the beach. Thanks, everyone!

The inn is cozy and peaceful, just right for anyone looking to rest. The breakfast was delicious and had a good range of options. We had a wonderful family stay. The welcome, reception, and staff’s courtesy made us feel like coming back again and again. The employees and owners were consistently polite and understanding, whatever came up. Thanks for all the help and attentive service throughout our stay.

The inn is easy to reach with Google Maps and sits in a very convenient location. Our room was pleasant, though on the small side. The bed felt too small to me, and the pillows were very low. Breakfast was plentiful. Beco das Garrafas and Praça da Matriz are 2.5 km away, with a church and lots of places to eat. We liked the area.

The pool area is beautiful, breakfast was wonderful, and the service was lovely from my very first WhatsApp contact. All the staff were really polite. The women there also told me about several events planned for later in the year. The area feels a little deserted, the street is unpaved, and the bed is small. I got my checkout time wrong, but the staff were still very courteous when they came to talk to me. I’d definitely recommend this place.
