Pousada Novo Prado is decorated with so much care. Every wall, corner and space feels thoughtfully put together, and the staff are welcoming throughout. When we arrived, someone immediately offered to carry our bags to the room. That courtesy wasn't limited to reception, everyone who worked there was polite. Lidiane, Vanessa, Lisane and Alice in the kitchen treated my wife, daughter and me like royalty. They made something wonderful to eat every day, and went out of their way to keep me comfortable and well fed despite my severe lactose intolerance. They were a big reason our stay was unforgettable. Breakfast had tapioca made to order, cakes in all kinds of flavors, juices and teas. The pool was a little dirty at first. Two days after we arrived, it was cleaned, and that earned the fifth star in my rating. I couldn't find anything else negative from start to finish. I'm completely charmed by the place and would live there if adult life worked that way. We'll be back next year with the rest of the family. See you then!

The team was very attentive, breakfast was fantastic, and the room, pools and outdoor area were all very clean. I only held back from giving the room full marks because it needed a chair to sit on. One more thing, the pool stairs need two extra steps to make getting in easier for people over 50. The pousada is excellent.
