The apartment entrance is through the bathroom, so if someone is using it, nobody else can get into the apartment. That layout feels completely unplanned. The place is also extremely noisy, with the bar music sounding like it's right inside the room. Sleeping was impossible.

We got a very warm welcome and excellent service, with helpful advice whenever we needed it. The rooms were clean and well equipped, and the price was great for what we got. An excellent pousada, highly recommended. Thank you!

Raílane welcomed us to the suite and was wonderful, very helpful, and full of tips for making the most of the city. The room was spotless and comfortable, and matched the listing. We'll definitely return and recommend it to friends.

Our stay in the JUBARTE room was a terrible experience. My husband and I booked through Booking after reading the room description and reviews, which encouraged us to reserve it. We arrived around 9 p.m. after a long trip, already tired. The wooden stairs were extremely steep, making it difficult to carry our bags up. The suite entrance is through the bathroom, which seemed odd. Inside, the ceiling is much lower across half the room. I'm 1.60 meters tall, and that part seemed to be about 1.50 meters high, so I had to bend down to avoid hitting my head. The room felt horribly claustrophobic. It was also very hot even with the air conditioning on. I tried to open the windows for fresh air, but the bathroom window was locked with a padlock and couldn't be opened. The room window faces the inside of the inn, not outdoors. There was no ventilation at all. These unusual features should be clearly stated in the listing. Who would expect no window to the outside and a ceiling only 1.50 meters high over half the room? I spent the night awake, and live music from the bar across the way continued until 2 a.m. In the morning we couldn't enjoy the place because we had to find another inn. A clear description of the JUBARTE suite's unusual features is essential.
