Casa Familiar do Moinho

Really good.

The room was small and basic, but seemed fairly new. The minibar, TV, and air conditioning all worked, and everything was clean and tidy. The staff were attentive, and there are bakeries, restaurants, and other shops nearby. It was good value, but I’d skip it if you expect hotel amenities. There’s no 24-hour reception or breakfast, and parking is on the street. I also missed having a small table and hangers, since we had to eat on the bed and leave our clothes around the room. The Wi-Fi only worked at reception, even though our room was just a few meters away.

The inn was clean and quiet, and very good value. A special mention to Sr. Adérito for the transfer service: he picked us up from and took us back to the airport at the agreed times. He also drove us to beautiful Porto de Galinhas for a reasonable price and suggested sights and local food. I’d happily recommend it to anyone wanting to see this paradise!

There’s no security, no breakfast, and the rooms are extremely small and stuffy. Most of all, don’t expect to find anyone responsible for the inn when you need them.
