I came back after being away for 2 weeks because this place is so warm and happy, and I felt really welcome here. It's no luxury hotel, but this is the only place I've stayed where the cleaner is valued as part of the team and plays such a big role in making the whole place work.

The coworking space was nice, and the location is great, about 10 min from the lively neighborhood beside the beach. Most of the staff were friendly, but the rooms were in bad, dirty condition and the bathrooms weren't well maintained. There was usually no toilet paper, so you'd go to one bathroom, then another, only to find them occupied. The manager didn't tell us ahead of time that the hostel would be fully booked. We were basically kicked out at 11 am without having had enough sleep. Things that could be better: bathroom upkeep, cleanliness and more organized activities.

Another guest told the staff it was my birthday, and they made me a cake. Such sweet staff.

I'm so grateful I found this hostel. It's a peaceful, friendly place in a pretty busy part of the city. The huge mango tree out back feels like it watches over this little gem. Thank you, @Cosmopolitan Hostel!

The tropical garden is a lovely place to relax, and sometimes monkeys even visit! It's a cosy space in a great location, with warm, welcoming staff. I'll definitely stay there again if I return to Recife.
