Hotel Euro Suite Recife Boa Viagem

The place was clean and quiet, though the air conditioner condenser made a loud noise. The rooms felt very old, and the TV in mine seemed about ten years old. It didn’t feel like a four star hotel, and I think there are better choices in Recife for the price.

Breakfast was good and had something for just about any preference. The hotel itself is basic but comfortable, with good WiFi. There’s no coffee or tea setup in the room, and sound can carry through the walls, though it generally wasn’t a noisy place.

The ocean facing windows gave us a completely clear view and a lovely breeze, though the rooms also have air conditioning. Our suite had a large king bed, a separate sitting area with a pullout bed, and a TV in each area. Drinks and snacks in the room cost extra, and room service is available. The suite was about $80USD and included a nice breakfast buffet. We got an early check-in at noon after landing very early, which was a big help. The staff were friendly, and the hotel was clean. It’s right across from the beach, near Kiosk 32, and about ten minutes from the airport. Boa Viagem Square, with local food and souvenir vendors, is an easy walk away. There’s a tiny gym room, though you can also walk or run along the beach. The bar opens around 1400 and stays open until about 2200, with reasonable prices. Wilson was a great bartender. I’ve stayed here many times and this is still the only place I’d choose.

The rooms and bathrooms are spacious, and you can get a lovely ocean view. Breakfast was delicious, and the employees were extremely polite and friendly. Ricardo at reception really stood out. My only room complaint was the poor lighting, which I think should be better. The elevator is very narrow and can only fit a few people. Even so, I had a very good stay and would definitely recommend the hotel. It’s also close to just about everything.
