The kitchen was disgusting when I arrived. The cupboards looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in years, and the fridge had old, dirty pots with pasta that had been sitting there a long time. It was impossible to stay in that place. The neighborhood is awful, with sewage in the streets and a polluted river, basically an open sewer, nearby. The guesthouse is close to a community, which makes the area very, very dangerous. Don’t be fooled by the pool. It absolutely isn’t worth it. I found a much better place for the same price, with beach access and all the essential services, where I can feel the sea breeze. This was the worst experience of my life. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone, and honestly think the place should be closed because it isn’t fit to host people. The guesthouse overall is horrible, everything is makeshift. The pillows are very old, dirty, and full of mold. The mattresses are uncomfortable, old, and poor quality. Nothing works properly. The rooms have lots of mosquitoes and smell moldy. They didn’t provide us with sheets, towels, soap, or toilet paper, and there’s nobody managing the place.

I lived there for 30 days, only because I had no choice. I wouldn’t recommend it under any circumstances. The photos look lovely, but day to day the guesthouse is horrible. Cleanliness, organization, and the atmosphere are all lacking. There’s no security at all, just a simple aluminum gate between you and the dangers of the neighborhood, which is neither welcoming nor attractive. Public transport is terrible. You have to walk at least 10 minutes to reach transport that doesn’t put you at risk of being robbed. The area becomes deserted at night. During my 30 days, the cleaner came to change the bed linen only 3 times, and didn’t even sweep the room once. Forget washing the bathroom, taking out the trash, or wiping the furniture. Don’t believe me? Go live there yourself.

It was the worst hotel or guesthouse I’ve ever stayed in, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. It’s expensive for what you get, since the same money could get you somewhere much better. The location is bad, and the photos don’t match reality. The room was ugly, dirty, and full of mosquitoes, and the sheet had a blood stain.

The inn had a strong moldy smell, and when I arrived, nobody was there to meet me. I had paid for a studio but was put in a cramped place full of mosquitoes. At night there was no security, and the inn was left in the hands of the residents. A terrible experience. I would not recommend it to anyone.
