Piratas da Praia Fit Hostel

It’s okay, though it feels more like a two-bedroom apartment than a hostel. There’s just one dorm with three bunk beds, a single bathroom, a tiny kitchen, and no real common area.

I felt safe around here, and the staff were really helpful with suggestions for things to see and places to go in the city. Supermarkets and coffee shops are close by, and the shore is only a block away. It’s hard to beat this location for the price. I recommend it.

I had such a good time here on my first hostel stay. It’s a cute, fun place where it’s easy to unwind, and I liked meeting travelers from all over and hearing about their cultures. We ran into people from Switzerland, France, Mexico, Spain, Colombia, and different parts of Brazil. The staff were attentive and pleasant. The bathrooms were very clean, and the rooms have air conditioning, with hot showers and an equipped kitchen too. I felt comfortable staying here, and seeing it recommended by hostel organizations and services like Trivago and Foursquare was reassuring. It’s very cheap as well, and volunteering is an option.

Que buena onda! All the paintings make the hostel really lovely, and the shared rooms are set up to feel comfortable whenever you’re there. It was the cleanest hostel I stayed in in Brazil. The team was wonderful and friendly. I’d definitely recommend it!
