Radisson Hotel Recife

The oceanfront location is on a busy avenue, and the noise was a real problem. With single glazed windows I could hear cars and motorcycles as if I were right by the curb. I had to wear earphones to block it out. Radisson should be able to replace those windows. This was a huge letdown from such a massive hotel chain. If, like me, you're not used to big city noise, I'd avoid it. I'm sure there are quieter hotels nearby.

I haven't stayed in a hotel this bad in a long time. The shower had mold, and the sound insulation was awful, with no double glazed windows. They even charged me for my friend to stop by and pick up a gift. Really? Maybe renting out rooms isn't bringing in enough, so they charge these ridiculous extras. Only in Brasil. Radisson has lost me as a customer. An unhappy guest will probably tell ten people, which might help explain the lack of income. Keep it up, and I won't be surprised if I hear you've closed.

The staff made a great impression, especially the receptionist who got us into our room early, and everyone was pleasant. The restaurant was excellent, and the view from the hotel was beautiful. The area felt much safer than I expected, with people out running and exercising all day. During our whole vacation in northeastern Brazil, this was by far the most beautiful and comfortable hotel we stayed in. I highly recommend it.

I enjoyed staying here. It's right by the beach with great views, and there's shopping, restaurants, grocery stores, and a pharmacy close by.
