The decor is great, and breakfast is bonzer. For the price, it's good value right in central Recife.

The rooms are tiny, about the size of a matchbox, and the service isn't great. Maybe they figure people will put up with it because the hotel is seven minutes from the US consulate. If you're allergic, especially to mold, I'd seriously look elsewhere.

I had a great stay. The room was awesome and very clean, and the breakfast and lunch were good. As an American, I did have a language barrier, but the staff made an effort to make me comfortable. Definitely a win in my book.

There's a boutique hotel feel here, with restaurants and supermarkets close by, and the service and breakfast were quite good. The accommodation is comfortable and convenient, right near the heart of Recife. Rooms could use a bit more maintenance, though, and some nights were noisy. That's rough when you've only got a few hours to sleep before a flight.
