The location couldn’t have been better, and Alice and Willian provided excellent service. Breakfast was very good, with yogurt, tasty homemade breads and cakes, and several kinds of fruit. We did miss having somewhere to put our bags, and the TV didn’t work on the first day, but they fixed that promptly. The road leading to the pousada needs improvement, though that isn’t the pousada’s responsibility.

The access road is the one weak point. It’s a short stretch shared by four or more hotels, but poorly lit and full of rough patches, making it difficult even by car. The hotels still feel private, though. The hotel itself is lovely, with attentive, helpful staff who gave us good tips. The room was well maintained, the hot tub was great, and the fireplace had a safety guard and was easy to light. There’s good lighting throughout and the natural areas are well cared for. Breakfast had plenty of fresh fruit, bread, and cakes. It’s also well located for shops, food, and outings, close to the RJ/MG border bridge and the natural pool.

Maria Alice and her team made us feel right at home. They were welcoming, friendly, and attentive throughout. Jack, the pousada’s playful dog, deserves a mention too. The facilities were great, and breakfast had a lot of variety and quality, including some things made right there. The cheese bread was wonderful. I had an excellent stay, recommend it, and would come back if I get the chance.

The hotel has improved a lot since changing owners. Some older reviews criticize the previous management, but they don’t reflect how things are now. The staff were especially kind and attentive, with William and Alice standing out. Breakfast had a good variety, and the dinner we ordered was delicious. The location is perfect, less than a minute’s walk from the town center.

The hotel is great, and I recommend it. Service and breakfast were excellent, and the leisure area, including the pool and garden, was very good. The chalet bedroom is a little small, though it works for a couple. I missed having a bench or table to set our bags on. The hotel is very close to Maringá’s small center, but the access lane needs work, especially for people arriving on foot at night.
