We come here almost every week, usually for an overnight stay, but after this weekend we’re reconsidering and looking at other options. The breakfast and service have really gone downhill, yet prices haven’t dropped, and there’s been no improvement to the facilities or cleaning. Some rooms have a structure and cleanliness we don’t like. Room 28 had the broken bed’s debris left there, including slats and boards. The dust on it suggests it had been sitting there for a long time. With the high turnover, they should be especially careful about hygiene and how the place looks, since customers already know the risks of infection from so many people coming through. If prices and the same standard are staying, please bring breakfast back to how it was, even though it was simple. Jam doesn’t make sense without toast; you can’t spread it on a ring-shaped roll or cheese bread. They should improve the facilities, cleanliness, and breakfast to bring in more customers, instead of letting everything fall below the standard it used to have.
