Hotel Lara's

Ana and Alessandro welcomed me so warmly, they were both very polite. My stay was comfortable and easy, and breakfast was wonderful with lots of choices. I'd definitely recommend it and stay there again.

The staff are great, very polite, and the building has a welcoming, quirky decor. Breakfast was good, and the parking was good too. I might come back if it weren't for the location. My room felt stuffy. The window wouldn't open all the way, so air didn't circulate. It was a cool night, so heat wasn't an issue, but Ribeirão gets very hot. Outside noise also came straight in, which was uncomfortable. The location doesn't suit what the hostel offers and brings the average spend down, especially with shared bathrooms that were very dirty. Other guests sometimes wouldn't even flush.

One thing I'd suggest is keeping noise from other guests down, since it can get annoying. Otherwise, nothing to complain about: the employees were helpful and polite, and breakfast was satisfying and better than I expected. There are rooms for different needs, whether you're traveling alone or as a couple, and with or without air conditioning. It's centrally located near the bosque (zoológico).

A really good stay, with friendly, flawless service, tasty breakfast and a convenient location.
