The rooms are clean, breakfast is generous, and the view over Rio is simply exceptional. This charming Pousada is close to Santa Teresa’s main tourist sights, and I only booked one night, which I now regret. Thank you to Valentin and Camila for such a warm welcome.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The location is stunning, with some of the best views in town. It’s very central, though up on a hill, and Santa Tereza high street with its great restaurants and bars is an easy walk away.

The view from my private room may be the most stunning I’ve ever had! The staff were friendly, the place was awesome, and it was good value. Getting there means climbing steps and a slope, and the shops and cafes are a 10-15 minute walk away, so come ready to explore on foot. The neighborhood felt pretty safe to walk around. I loved my stay and will be back. One of the two photos below is the sunrise from my room 😍

Being in this amazing house felt like being at home, and the breakfast was delicious. We had a really great stay at Casa 48, with a breathtaking view over the city. Its proximity to the Santa Teresa's neighbourhood made it easy to find plenty to see and places to eat. We’re already waiting for the chance to come back!

They speak French, English, and Portuguese, so it’s easy to communicate. They’re really cool people, and breakfast is ready every morning with fresh juice made from fresh fruit. The place is so clean you can walk around without shoes or socks. Staying there for two weeks was very cheap. I really recommend it.
