There are plenty of good restaurants nearby, and the neighborhoods are lovely to explore on foot. The hotel itself was nice and the staff were incredible. For a first trip to Brazil, this felt like a perfect area to stay in.

The view of Olympic Pack across the street was lovely, and everyone I dealt with, from the front desk to the dining and cleaning teams, was friendly and professional. I really liked being able to sleep in a bit since breakfast runs until 10:00 am, later than I'm used to in the United States. The buffet was very good, especially the eggs, which were better than I've had at any other hotel. My room was neat and clean. The shower worked fine, though the pressure could have been stronger and the shower head couldn't be moved.

From now on, this is my place in Rio. Mr. Joas and Camilla were amazing and made sure I was taken care of. Everyone was so polite, friendly, and willing to go above and beyond. Breakfast had lots to choose from, including fresh fruit, coffee, cappuccino, breads, and spreads. This has been my best experience in Brazil so far. I recommend it.

You can find a laundromat, barbershop, and supermarket nearby, and the staff can speak English if you need help. Breakfast was great, with something different every day, and the staff were friendly and kept the room clean. Barra da Tijuca is a great location. It's a bit of a distance from the famous beaches, Copacabana and Ipanema, but I still found it worthwhile. I'd definitely come back.

The staff were really good, and there was plenty of parking. The rooms were spacious and very clean, and breakfast was good too. Hotel monza is a nice place to stay in barra de tijuca, right in front of the olympic village.
