I really enjoyed staying overnight and would definitely come back. The house is spacious, old, and lovely, with a real grandma's house feel. All the rooms were clean and carefully arranged, with lots of character. I got a free bath towel, which I thought was great since that's unusual for a hostel. The beds were comfortable and had duvets. The location is right next to Quinta da Boa Vista, with an Extra supermarket close by. I felt fine walking around the streets. The standout is definitely the owner, Iara. She's polite, kind, outgoing, and helpful, and she makes you feel at home. She lives in the house, which gives the stay that familiar feeling.
