That restaurant is awful. It was the worst breakfast I’ve had in all my years in Brazil. The owner should take a look at the place. Honestly, anyone giving it more than one star is lying.

We were staying in an Airbnb in the hotel, and the front desk had assured me there’d be maid service every day. When nobody came on the second day, I only asked for clean towels, but they refused and said service was every other day. I couldn’t even get a single towel from them. Terrible service.

Breakfast had lots of choices and was delicious, and everyone we met was nice. Juliano at reception was especially pleasant and helpful. The hosting and service were excellent. I’d come back many more times if I could.

The pool area is great, and you can walk to Rio Design Barra and Vogue Square. It’s a nice part of Rio, though the rooms could use a facelift. Cleanliness is reasonably good in general, but there’s room to improve.

The apartments have a really good amount of space, and ours had a nice balcony with a good view. The location is good too. The doorman did take a while to let us go upstairs.
