What has made the biggest difference for my father at Residencial Duvivier is the way the place is managed. He has been there for eight months, since my mother passed away, and I feel good about the experience. Dra. Paula is a capable doctor who is present and makes thoughtful decisions with humanity and balance. My father has Alzheimer’s and a difficult personality. His aggressive episodes have gradually come under control, without excessive medication, through careful adjustments that have worked. That gives me peace of mind, especially since I spend long stretches outside the country. Everyone treats him with care, from the nurses and caregivers to the kitchen, cleaning, administrative, and finance staff. The atmosphere feels welcoming, and that matters in day-to-day life. There are operational challenges, as there would be in any institution, but the close management, clinical attention, human care, and safe environment have helped him become more settled, calmer, and well cared for. I recommend Residencial Duvivier for that balance.

It took my uncle nearly two months to adjust, and that period was difficult. Now he’s very happy and settled. The change came from the patience, skill, attention, and kindness of the whole staff. Reception, caregivers, and cleaning staff all helped him through it, and the team stood by one another. Our whole family is grateful.

My mother has been at Residencial Duvivier since August 2020 and adjusted very well. I’m pleased with her care. The staff are always attentive to her, and when I have questions about medication or treatment, I get a quick, clear response.

When my brother lost the few movements he still had at the start of this year, I could no longer care for him myself, so I chose Residencial Duvivier as his new home. They had looked after him well before, too. I first found the place around the middle of 2020, when I was exhausted and needed somewhere for him to stay. He had cerebral palsy from birth and was 69 at the time, and whenever I needed care for him after that, I brought him back there. I was feeling fragile when I made this latest decision, and the team welcomed me warmly. I’m deeply grateful. I visit my brother often and see the affection he receives. The Residencial Duvivier team is wonderful and attentive, a perfect score from me. Congratulations to everyone, and special thanks to Dra. Paula and Renata, lovely people!
