Nsa Sra Rio Habitat Apartments

I paid R$1.800 for an apartment that was filthy and in poor condition. I arrived late afternoon on check-in day, went out for commitments, and only really got inside at night. Then I saw how bad it was: leftover drinks in the minibar, greasy cupboards, grimy walls, a filthy bathroom with insects coming out of the drain, and an air conditioner and fan in terrible shape that urgently needed cleaning. There was no alternative at that hour, so I had to sleep there, but I cancelled the booking the next morning. The place was unsanitary. They charged me R$230 for “cleaning” that clearly hadn't been done, while also claiming the property had been checked. When I asked about the cancellation fee, nobody gave a clear answer. I gave up and contacted hoteis directly. Days later, I was told there would be no refund at all, even though the policy said 50% would be returned. The only offer was a R$250 voucher, which was an insult given the total amount I'd paid. Rio Habitat and Hoteis.com were negligent, evasive, and completely disrespectful. Fortunately, I found an immaculate, cheaper, well-kept Airbnb in the same neighborhood. I don't recommend this accommodation to anyone, and my experience with w hoteis ends here. A complete disregard for the customer. I've never been so deceived or treated so badly.
