Ocean View Hotel

Ask reception about getting connected with the boat trips, they were so much fun. We loved the hotel: the ocean view is amazing and the beach is just steps away. Having parking was a big plus, so we didn't have to hunt for a spot on the street. Uber made it easy to get around if we wanted drinks at night. 10/10, we'd visit again 💪

The view is nice, but that's about all I can say for this place. At this price, it was a total letdown. The Wi-Fi barely worked, and the jacuzzi in the room had no hot water. A staff member suggested filling it in the morning before going to the beach and letting the sun warm it up while I was out. Breakfast looked old, and there wasn't even fresh coffee. They should charge at least half as much.

The location right on the beach was the hotel's best feature, and Marcelo made check-in easy. He was friendly and professional, and got us into a room quickly. I stayed for two nights in August as part of a week split between Arraial do Cabo and Buzios. The hotel was practically empty, but when I found worn furniture and curtains with holes, they said maintenance would come fix the curtains instead of offering another room. I'd just driven for six hours and didn't want to deal with repairs. They did replace the curtains while I was out the next day. I also had to pay a daily fee for beach towels, which felt like nickel-and-diming someone already paying R$440 a night. Management seemed to fix things only after complaints and didn't seem to respect guests' time. The Wi-Fi was terrible, too. Marcelo and Raquel at the front desk were caring and tried to help, and the staff were friendly. The hotel is well located, but the management decisions let the stay down.

We chose a comfortable room and already hope to come back, even though we only just arrived. The hotel is right across from Prainha, and the view really is amazing. We love this place!
