The bathroom had no hot water, and although I complained and was told it had been fixed, it was still cold when I got back from the beach on the evening of August 24. I arrived at Pousada Girassol at 11:50 p.m. on August 23, 2013, and the older man who greeted me seemed more like a watchman than a receptionist. My room was tiny, the bathroom was so small I could barely move, and all the facilities were very old. Breakfast was poor, plain, and badly made. On Sunday morning, August 25, 2013, I moved to Hotel Angrense, which is on the same street and very good. I recommend it to everyone. I absolutely don’t recommend Pousada Girassol. It’s not worth it, it’s really bad.
