Prodigy Santos Dumont by Wish

The pool area was clean, and the views of the Sugarloaf, bay, Christ statue, and downtown skyline were beautiful. The hotel is modern and reasonably priced, and Luciana made check-in easy and was very helpful. I'll definitely be back for a third visit.

The breakfast was poor about three days a week. The fruit came in bowls and clearly wasn't fresh. Cutting costs like that doesn't make me want to return. Nights were also extremely noisy, and I couldn't fall asleep. If I didn't work nearby, I wouldn't stay here. My shower head was broken, and when I asked about a fix, the hotel said someone could repair it or they could move me to another room. I went back and forth three times, but nothing got resolved, and the front desk staff were very rude. I'd already been staying there for nearly three months, so I don't understand why this couldn't be sorted out. I had a lot of luggage, and each trip took 30 minutes. They gave me two keys, then said I had to unpack before I could get them, even though I offered to let them come upstairs while I gathered my things. What kind of service is that? Is this how Rio Hotel at the airport treats someone who's stayed for three months? Have they reflected on their attitude?

The hotel was spotless and had a welcoming feel. Felipe was a real delight and made the whole guest experience special. He answered my calls politely every time and showed real care, which I appreciated.

Felipe at the front desk made us feel very welcome on our first trip to Brazil. He was fun, charismatic, and easy to talk to, and his suggestions for places to visit worked out well for us. Looking forward to seeing him again!
