We stayed here through Airbnb for 38 days and really liked it. The location is excellent, near the beach, assai, a pharmacy, and Barra downtown, and being on avenue des americas makes it easy to reach by car. Prices are good, and the staff are friendly, efficient, and know the area well enough to help tourists. The pool felt a bit cold in winter, but that's expected. We also saw monkeys in the nearby nature reserve. Room cleaning was good, and we could get food delivered upstairs during the day from ifood. There's a small minimarket on site too, though it's a little overpriced. The restaurant was out of business, massage was available only in the room, and the fitness facilities were a bit lackluster.

The crib was absolutely terrible and unacceptable. On the nicer side, the short walk to the beach was a pleasant little hike, and the experience was great overall, so we'd certainly return. The jacuzzi water was as cold as the pool water.

The junior suite was really nice, with spacious, clean rooms, excellent Muslim showers in the bathroom, and a lovely balcony view. The pool is outdoors, which was nice, and breakfast was good, though not great. The location is the drawback. There's not much around for entertainment, and the hotel is far from the beaches if you like walking. Americas Shopping Mall is 2 km across from the hotel, and Barra Shopping Mall is 6 km away. If you use Uber or taxis often, the location is fine. I would have given five stars, but for the location, it's four.

The shower had no hot water. We also had to ask the front desk three times before they fixed the safe, so they could have been more helpful.

The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the hotel is well located near Downtown Mall. Breakfast is decent but nothing special. Some rooms may get noise from the large avenue out front.
