Santa Teresa is such a special, laid-back neighborhood, and this pousada is charming. The staff went way beyond what they had to do to accommodate us. Would I come back? Absolutely.

It's quiet, cozy, romantic, and really cute, with great staff and a lovely location. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious, and there are plenty of places to eat nearby.

A lovely posada with friendly staff. It's a little out of the way, but Santa Theresa is a really charming part of Rio to stay in.

WARNING! People are being contacted at random and offered money to post positive reviews, even though they have never stayed at the hotel. I don't know whether the hotel is directly involved or if this is a scam, but they promise at least 10,00 per review and say to contact "financeiro" on Telegram after posting. Meanwhile, the hotel's rating goes up, but the reviews are fake.

I love going to Quinta Azul to enjoy Santa Teresa as if I'd travelled somewhere, even though I live in Rio. The rooms are lovely and carefully put together. It's the little touches that win me over: good-quality bedding, fully blackout curtains, and friendly service. Just one suggestion, breakfast could be a bit more special.
