The backyard was a lovely place to unwind and swim, and the master suite was spotless and really comfortable. We stayed for seven nights and loved every minute. Christiano made everything easy, letting us check in early and leave late, answering our questions, and pointing us to a great local market. Cosme Velho felt private and secure, with good restaurants in walking distance and the main sights a short drive away. We only ate breakfast there on our first morning, but it was delicious and home-cooked.

The owners were charming and very helpful, and breakfast was beautiful. Rio Boutique Suites is quiet, attractive, and in a private neighborhood that felt perfectly safe. I could walk to Christ the Redeemer from there. I stayed for my first night in Brazil, in May last year, and couldn't have asked for a better introduction. I'd choose it again if I return to Rio.

The view of Rio's jungle-covered hills from the suite was lovely, and we even spotted monkeys and parrots from our balcony. It was beautifully decorated and furnished. We could walk to most places, so the central location was really handy while still being quiet. Chris and Renata were helpful with all our questions and needs, and Renata made us a delicious English breakfast with baked beans. We had a great stay and hope to come back. Thanks for everything!
