The host was attentive and communicated really well. The place was very clean and felt safe, with nice bars and restaurants nearby. It’s 2 blocks from the Metro and 3 blocks from the beach, and walking around the area felt extremely safe. A great hostel option around Ipanema, highly recommended.

The owner is always there if you need anything, and the place is clean and safe. After a bad experience at another hotel, he helped me out and took care of me during my time in Rio. Great location too. I really recommend the bike house!

It felt like home, really comfortable and warm. Mari welcomed me, and Ricardo was always attentive. They were both so kind.
