There's plenty of choice at breakfast, and the rooms are nice and clean. The place is just one block from the beach, with lots of options around, so it's a good address overall. The elevators are a bit outdated and slow. Since the building has 16 floors, getting to your floor can sometimes take 10 minutes. If you're leaving late, storing your luggage can be a problem.

The location is a plus: one block from Copacabana, and the breakfast selection was large. The stay itself was awful. The staff weren't friendly and had trouble communicating in English. For a 3-star hotel costing over 100 euros a night, they didn't provide complimentary water and wouldn't issue an invoice when I asked. The room smelled of damp and mold. The bathroom was cramped with no ventilation, and the old furnishings looked dirty. 🤢😤

The only downside I noticed was that there's no swimming pool on the property. Otherwise, it's a great place to stay, just 2 blocks from Copacabana beach, with friendly people, great service, and a wonderful breakfast buffet.

It may have been a 3-star hotel once, though I doubt it would earn that rating today. The rooms are generally well furnished, but everything feels past its heyday, with outdated features like showers without a mixing faucet and in-wall air conditioners. Look closely and you'll find stains and holes. The windows and mirrors in my room were quite dirty, and an insect crawled onto my bed when I arrived. There was no mosquito protection, though it was certainly needed. I'm also fairly sure the shower had a mold problem, which is a health concern.
