Park Veredas, Flat 513 - Fantástico!!!

The apartment was cozy and well organized, with a comfortable bed, a fully equipped kitchen, and a mountain view. We arrived on June 4 at noon, were welcomed warmly, and found the apartment ready and very clean. Douglas, who owns room 424, was kind and gave us all the information and support we needed. He also told us that bedding, towels, and toiletries aren’t provided. The condominium is a great place to stay, with lots of clean pools, a large games area, a cinema where we watched a movie early in the evening, a gym, and a sauna. We couldn’t find the nightclub. The restaurant is spacious, and both breakfast and lunch were well prepared and reasonably priced. There’s also a river behind the building, and surprisingly, the water really is hot. In the evening we went to the town center, about 500 meters away. There are good places to eat, plus a little market with delicious food. We really liked our stay. The leisure area was pleasant, clean, and safe, and everyone working there was helpful and kind. We’d definitely recommend the place, and we got to see Rio Quente.

The place is nice, but a lot of the pools are cold, including the kids’ ones. That’s a real letdown somewhere known for its hot water. The Italian ice cream is already twice the price, which we can sort of overlook, but then you get half a portion. That makes you feel like a fool 🤡 🤡 🤡

The staff were attentive, and the pools and other shared areas were extremely clean. Special praise to the owners of Apartment 309 for the quality of the furniture, how clean it was, and the care they showed their guests. The service was excellent, and I’ll be back.

The restaurant service was the part that disappointed us. We paid R$30 for pork cracklings with cassava, but got only processed fake cracklings, with no cassava or anything on the side. We also ordered fries, which arrived completely soggy with little bits of poor quality bacon. They packed everything for us to eat in the room, so we only saw it once we got there. The hotel rooms are quite high tech and comfortably fit two adults and at most one child. The pools were at a pleasant temperature, and one of them was especially nice and warm. The river wasn’t much fun, though, because the water is very shallow.
