We were coming from Cuiabá and passing through town, so we stopped at this hotel. I hadn't booked a room because the photos didn't really look like a hotel to me. I'd gone in earlier to ask about a reservation and agreed on a price by phone, but when I arrived, the reception area looked like a bar and made me uneasy. The receptionist then wanted to charge a different amount, so I decided to check the room first. The beds looked really bad, the room smelled musty, and the shower was in awful shape, held together with wire. I decided not to stay.
