Harbor Self Inn Rondonopolis

Just okay.

The breakfast had loads of choices, including Nutella and peanut butter, though the bread was a weak spot. There was no French bread, and the sliced bread was hard, but there were so many other things that it didn't bother me. The hotel was clean and had cable TV and a pool, all for a very reasonable price. I was especially impressed by the safety measures, with cameras, fire extinguishers every couple of steps, and fire sensors in the rooms and hallways. I'd definitely recommend it and would stay here again.

The food was simple, home-style, and good, though breakfast had only a few options. The hotel is affordable but needs repairs. In our first, decent room, the shower wouldn't get hot, so we moved to a slightly worse room where it did. The double bed was actually two single mattresses inside a double cover. The restaurant shares space with reception, and the receptionist takes orders too, so you have to wait if they're helping someone else.

We had a comfortable bed, a tasty breakfast, and a simple but really good dinner at the hotel restaurant. The service was excellent, and the garage has camera monitoring. When we visited during the June festival month, the reception was decorated and had treats for guests. There's also a pool and leisure area. The only drawback was the lack of an elevator: our room upstairs meant carrying our bags up the stairs. They do offer ground-floor rooms, but none were available when we arrived.
