I really enjoyed the swimming pool, and the people are friendly. The building is in a very safe area of Salvadar. I booked an apartment through Airbnb; it was clean and spacious, though the kitchen was very small and the bed was 1.4 meter. The building is 30 years old, and the apartment had a couple of minor issues: the window wouldn't close, and two light bulbs were out. The laundry service inside is expensive, for example, 20 pieces cost R$60 or 30 pieces R$93, including delivery.

The room was fine, and the receptionists were nice. Security was good too, but the gym seemed neglected and the pool water was murky and needed weekly cleaning.

Bandido A woman and her nephew showed me an apartment and took my cash, but it turned out to be a scam. How did she get into the building, and why did the doorman let her show us around? Her name is Vera Maria. Watch out for her.

The location is beautiful, and the staff are really friendly, ten out of ten. The building has a pool and gym, plus you can buy affordable food, snacks, drinks, and sweets right there. When we arrived exhausted, though, we had to go out for basic supplies. There wasn't even a paper napkin, toilet paper, or soap. The TV also has no streaming services, so rainy days can get boring when you're stuck with broadcast channels and your phone. 🥲 Room 802 may have just been opening, but I wanted to mention this so the service there can improve. Other rooms had a welcome basket and such.
