Canaville Design Hotel

I couldn’t find the place easily. I drove around the block four times and ended up in narrow alleys before I finally found what seemed to be the hotel. When I used the intercom, the owner refused to show me the rooms unless I paid through Booking.com first. I found that inhumane. He treated me like a criminal for asking to see the accommodations, and I thought he had a foreign accent. I had to go look for another hotel, and I wanted to call the police. The neighborhood looked rough and possibly dangerous, and some letters were missing from the sign. I feel he should be reported for treating a guest this way and refusing to do his job as a host.

It took several drives around before I found the place. When I finally reached the owner by intercom, he was extremely hostile and wouldn’t let me see the rooms. He said he only shows them after a Booking reservation. I didn’t want to use my phone in what seemed like a rough, possibly dangerous neighborhood, and maybe the owner was scared of me too. Either way, I was very angry. I believe this violates consumer rights in every way.

The street leading there felt so strange that it seemed like we were heading to a drug dealer’s place. The service was awful too: no food at night, no help ordering any, and not even coffee in the morning. The shower didn’t work either. One of the sketchiest places I’ve heard of. BE CAREFUL! #STAYAWAY

I paid for the reservation in advance, but couldn’t reach the hotel even with GPS. When we stopped to ask where it was, we were robbed. I called the hotel and got a very rude response, as if I was supposed to find my own way there. They simply ignored my request for a refund. The location is terrible. One of the worst nights of my life. Zero out of ten!
