From above, Edifício Oceania has a timeless elegance. It was Bahia’s first residential building, and it still stands by the sea, witnessing the city’s history and beautiful sunrises. The view is breathtaking. Oceania is more than architecture, it’s memory and horizon. This traditional apartment building opened in 1943 and faces Farol da Barra in Salvador. It’s an imposing classic, with lovely architecture and a beautiful view of the lighthouse and the entire Barra beachfront. A real landmark in the city.

More than 80 years old, Salvador’s first building is like a sibling to Farol da Barra. Its luxurious design for the time was inspired by French buildings, and it has plenty of history. The rooftop once housed several businesses and even a famous nightclub, BOATE LOTUS. I remember those days. UNESCO now recognizes it as part of Salvador’s heritage. I think it’s fantastic.
