The owners and staff made me feel like family, and sometimes I was there alone and felt as if I were in charge of the hostel. The place is easy to reach, on a quiet residential street with little traffic. There were hardly any people wandering around the area at night. The hostel is up to date, with LED lights, a modern layout, new bathrooms, and shared air conditioning, which wasn’t a problem. I’ll stay here again when I return to Salvador.

I have such good memories of this place. Sra Irlanda, the owner, was very kind, and everything was clean and organized. What mattered most to me was the hospitality and feeling safe. I left my phone charging and came back at night to find it in exactly the same spot, which was unbelievable, haha. I loved it and recommend it if you’re on a tight budget. Kisses.

NOT RECOMMENDED. Keep an eye on your belongings and money. Someone entered our locked room with a key and stole almost 700 reais from our bags. The administrator did not respond. NOT RECOMMENDED.

The prices are affordable, and it’s very close to Pelourinho, within walking distance of the Historic Center. It’s also near the Igreja da Providência, and the people here are very friendly. The owner is very wealthy. The main drawback is that cleaning is infrequent.

The streets leading to this hostel felt a bit dodgy, even though it’s in a popular area in the city center. The place is very old and run-down, apart from the bathrooms, and there’s no reception. The person who let us in left us alone for the whole night, though they did call a taxi when we asked. I definitely wouldn’t recommend staying here.
