Whenever I’m in Salvador, this is my usual place to stay.

I stayed here with my children for two and a half weeks, and we had a perfect stay. It’s right by the beach, with a pharmacy downstairs, banks, lovely restaurants, and my favorites, Açai and Tapioca, just a few meters away. I’d happily stay here again and recommend it to my friends in France, Portugal, Switzerland, and Belgium. The rooftop pool is beautiful, with room to swim, have a drink, and chat with friends or family while looking out at the sea. Security felt good too, with facial recognition, cameras throughout the building, a kind security guard, and a very friendly reception team. There’s also a handy laundry service on the ground floor, plus parking in the basement with a small market. I loved the experience.

The apartment comes with a full kitchen, air conditioning, and Wi-Fi, and the building has a pool and gym. The location is excellent too, just minutes from Praia do Farol da Barra, with a sea view. Guests even gave the location a 10.0 rating.

The building is new, secure, and in a good location. It has a 24-hour reception, a nice gym, and a pool with a lovely view. The elevators were the big problem. One of the three was out of service for over a week and still wasn’t working during New Year’s, which backed everything up. Since the pool is on the 14th floor, going up and down became a mess. There were too many people for the elevators, with long waits, and they often arrived so full they wouldn’t open because of the weight limit. There also aren’t enough chairs or loungers by the pool for guests and residents. Some owners seemed to think they had priority. My family saw a resident argue with a guest and say the lounger belonged to him because he was an owner.
