We got in late at night and found cockroaches beside the bed, with a moldy smell in the rooms. We left right away and had to find another hotel in the middle of the night. The hygiene was very bad.

Lucia makes fresh, unusual juices for breakfast, and the location is wonderful, just steps from the cathedral and main square.

We had nowhere to put our things: no hooks, shelves, table, hangers, wardrobe, nothing. The beds were awful, jammed into a narrow recess, and the bowed mattress rolled when two people lay side by side. The space between the beds was too tight for two people to pass, and the shower water barely trickled. Cockroaches seemed to be everywhere. We had to pay two months in advance, and only by international payment, even though we booked through Booking. She doesn’t trust people, though maybe she isn’t trustworthy herself. The price isn’t good either. We found another place nearby on San Antonio St., a great, thoughtful place with a sea view for the same price. She promised a refund but never returned the money.
