The location worked well, with the beach easy to reach and a small supermarket just around the corner. The check-in and check-out staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean too, but for what this hotel costs, there’s room to do better. Getting to the sixth floor was a hassle because one of the elevators was broken, leaving guests and room-service staff to crowd into the one that still worked. Breakfast was okay, though the plates and coffee cups were small enough that I’d probably have to make two trips. My daughter likes pão francês, but it seemed to run out. They may buy it from a local bakery, and if you show up after 8:30 a.m., you might be left with sliced bread instead.

The construction noise right in front of the hotel was loud, and at night the live music from a bar made it impossible to sleep. I wouldn’t recommend it.

My wife and I had a great stay. The hotel was clean and conveniently located, and it was very economical. The staff were friendly and helpful, and having nearby restaurants was a nice bonus.

The restaurant inside serves food that an American would feel completely comfortable with. The workers are so kind and deserve a tip, and the location is perfect for anyone coming to this beautiful city. Uber is dirt cheap, too. For a three-star hotel, it’s the cleanest I’ve seen, and the quality for the budget is hard to beat. I think this place deserves an award 🥇 and I’m recommending it.

The hotel itself was nice, but we felt nervous coming and going because the street seemed very unsafe. Even our Uber driver asked why we needed to go to that street, saying it was for “safety reasons.” We were especially uneasy about leaving for our early flight. I’d suggest the hotel improve security or work with the city to make the area safer.
