The location is awesome, but the room was unbearable and the reception staff were rude. Breakfast was just okay. I cancelled all my other reservations here. Worst hotel I've ever stayed in.

It's handy for the beach and nearby restaurants, and the staff are friendly, although their English is limited. We've stayed here before and would come again. This time we got a room with a very small shower. The air conditioning worked well and wasn't too noisy. From an upper floor, you may wait for the lift, which is quite small, but you also won't hear the reception area noise.

The breakfast was a bit disappointing, though the hotel was still great value and I'd stay again. Our room was spacious, with good air conditioning, and the hotel is in a safe area near the beach. There's a big supermarket across the road. The staff were very nice and friendly. They also let us check in early and kept our luggage until quite late on the day we left.

The beach is only about 500 metres long, with lifeguards at one end and plenty of chairs to rent. The water gets deep quickly, from knee to neck depth over just a few metres, and the waves are strong, so be careful. I was in Salvador for three days, and this seemed like one of the safest neighborhoods to me, with Polícia Militar parked around the area. It's just a 20-metre walk to a lively beachfront with all the food and drinks you could want.
