The location is great, and the staff were friendly. Everything seemed clean, too. Still, for what we paid, the rooms weren't acceptable. The first one smelled strongly of urine and sewage, and faced the main square, so it was quite loud. We arrived late at night after a long trip, which made it especially frustrating, and nobody spoke English at check-in. After we complained, they gave us another room that at least didn't smell as bad. The bathroom was tiny, and the toilet seat broke right away. We wanted to check out sooner but couldn't, so I'd suggest booking fewer nights rather than more. Salvador has much nicer places to stay, though this one is okay for a single night at most.

Luckily, we only spent one night here. The rooms were barely decent, and the staff were extremely rude on several occasions, starting when we arrived and continuing at breakfast. I've traveled all over the world, and I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

I didn't like staying here. The room was dirty, the staff were unfriendly, and the breakfast was the worst I've ever had. Nobody spoke English, and the location wasn't great either. There were a lot of homeless people sleeping outside the hostel doors. I wouldn't recommend it.

The rooms were cramped, the beds were broken, and the bathroom was so small our friend couldn't fit inside. There was a bad smell everywhere, breakfast service was poor, and the staff were incredibly unfriendly and unhelpful. They even charged us extra so our friend could leave his suitcase for a few hours. I really don't recommend this place. I went to "Cores do Pelo" next door, and it was much better. Don't waste your money here.
