The bed was alright, but the AC was so noisy it kept waking us up. In the morning, a woman knocked every 30 seconds, telling us to move our car for no reason, then was rude when I went to move it. It made for one of my worst hotel mornings. Don't expect soap or genuinely hot water.

The mold in the rooms was a real health concern. They weren't ventilated, and when we raised the issue, staff tried to cover the strong smell with perfume. The bathroom stank so badly that neither my boyfriend nor I could brush our teeth there, so we used the laundry room sink down the hall instead. The place seemed normal at first, but the filth kept showing up everywhere. By far my worst stay in Salvador. I wouldn't wish it on anyone, so look for another hotel or hostel.

I stayed in October 2016. The price was good and the place was nice, but my room was beside the kitchen, and I woke up every day to the workers talking loudly in the morning.

The owner was really friendly and kept trying to help and sort things out. It's a very nice, cheap place, though the bedrooms would be better with a table and chair.

I stayed here a few years back. The service was great, and breakfast was excellent.
