For the price, I think a 4 out of 5 is fair. The lobby, breakfast, and pool area were nice, and the staff were great. Both the morning and night receptionists spoke genuinely excellent English. My room beat others at a similar price, with a clean fridge and TV, though there was no chair or desk. The AC was very bad, and warm air came in through a gap in the window and a large open vent in the bathroom. I also had no WiFi in the room. I’d moved over from Andrade Plaza, which was very bad, and for about the same price this place was 300% better. I’d recommend it if you want to stay in this area of Salvador. Its current overall rating seems completely accurate.

It’s a cheap place for lunch, and the food is okay for the price. The menu could use more choices, especially salads. Still, it works for an inexpensive lunch.
