Breakfast is pretty good and starts early, which I liked since there’s so much to see nearby. The hotel is beautiful and in an ideal spot. The rooms are comfortable, though a kettle and fresh linen would be welcome. Service is uneven. Some staff are GREAT, but there could be more help for guests who don’t speak Portuguese, even something like putting a translation app on the front desk PC. The rooms also aren’t cleaned very well, and the cleaning staff could use more professional development.

A nice place to stay, near downtown and other attractions. The breakfast is good, and it’s a good spot for swimming and running.

The views are amazing, the service is friendly, and getting to the ocean is something special. The location is excellent, but the hotel infrastructure needs proper maintenance. It feels almost abandoned, with broken door knobs, a broken elevator, busted light fixtures, and leaking tubs. I’m surprised management has let a place with so much potential deteriorate like this.

There’s a nice view and a poolside bar, so it’s worth a visit. Breakfast is a good way to try typical Brazilian food. When we paid for two breakfasts, the lady typed 600 instead of 60 reis. I’m sure it was an honest mistake, and it was corrected.

The location is great, but the hotel needs maintenance. The elevators were very slow, and the display on our floor didn’t work. The air conditioner’s blades had been removed, so air only came out in one direction. This doesn’t feel like a four-star hotel.
