I only used the restaurant, not the inn. The restaurant is very good, with a cozy atmosphere, a lovely nature view, attentive service, and quality food.

The view is incredible, and the place feels cozy. My wife and I stayed for three days and had a really good time. The host welcomed us warmly and gave us tips on places to visit. Breakfast was very good, and the rooms were clean and spacious. One small thing, the bathroom door is a bit see-through. Since it was just me and my wife, it didn't bother us much, but it could feel a little uncomfortable.

The location is good, close to Santuário do Caraça and Santa Bárbara and Brumal. Breakfast was simple but did the job. The room was dark and quiet, though it got very hot during the warm weather when I visited. It cooled down quite a bit on the last day, which helped. There are several things the inn should improve. The entrance and parking area are extremely dark at night. There are motion lights only inside, and the lack of lighting outside felt like penny-pinching. The gate is right beside the highway, so you have to stop the car on the road, get out, and open it. There should be space off the road for a car to pull in safely. As it is, someone speeding could hit whoever is stopped there opening the gate. You have to hope no fast car comes along. I've never seen anything like it. On our last day there was no hot water in the shower. I think it was because the solar system didn't generate enough energy on a cloudy day. Having to take a cold shower in cold weather was awful. The owner told us just as we were getting ready to leave, but that didn't fix anything. A place using solar power for its hot water should have a fully electric backup, and I didn't see one here. I would never recommend this inn and wouldn't stay here again.

The staff were very attentive, and our room was very clean. There's a restaurant with a varied menu, as well as a pool. It's good value and well placed for Caraça and other attractions, including Associação das Tecelãs de Brumal. We'll definitely be back!
