We got great suggestions for lovely local hikes from a host who was attentive to everything we needed. It’s a beautiful nature-filled place to stay if you’re after some peace and quiet.

The breakfast was generous and varied, and the large pool has a waterfall feature. You can also get lunch and dinner for an extra charge, and both were wonderful and generously served. Fátima and Sérgio were fantastic, too. Check-in and checkout took no worrying on our part. The setting was really pleasant, and the dogs Fidel and Froud are lovely. Our stay was a great experience and good value. The one thing I’d flag is the room: there was no TV, and the bathroom sink leaked, leaving the whole bathroom wet.

Such a beautiful place, with a stunning mountain view and loads of peace and quiet. Fátima and Sérgio were really attentive, and breakfast was delicious, varied, and nourishing. We definitely recommend it!

Loved it. The chalet was well equipped, with mountains in view and a stream behind it, so it felt like a real escape into nature. Great for resting, and easy to reach, with only 400 meters on a dirt road.
