Hotel Terrra Nativa

We had a spacious, modern, comfortable suite at Hotel Terra Nativa, and the breakfast had a good variety and tasted delicious. The team were welcoming and friendly, and the location made it easy to walk to the main area of Alter do Chão and explore local attractions. The price was quite high at the end of the year, but I felt it was worth it since this is one of the newest options in the area and is fresh and well maintained. I'd recommend Hotel Terra Nativa if you're visiting Alter do Chão and want comfort, good service, and convenience.

The hotel is new, but it needs a lot of improvement before I'd recommend it. We booked two identical rooms for me and my two children, but they turned out to be different sizes. The manager was constantly in a bad mood, and staff were hardly helpful. When my son was sick and couldn't come downstairs, I asked to take a tapioca from breakfast to him. They checked with the manager and still refused. There's no sense of welcome or consistency in the service. They never have anything and nothing is ever allowed. There is no elevator, and reception won't help with the bags. The owner's absence is very evident.

I had a terrible experience and would never return or recommend the place. The staff were in bad moods and weren't helpful or reasonable. Nothing is ever available, and nothing is allowed, even after checking with management. There's no elevator and no help with bags. I upgraded my room during the stay, but on the day I was supposed to move, reception told me the room was no longer available because of their mistake. It's amateurish and disorganized. They should invest in staff training if they want to succeed. Being a new hotel doesn't help when the service is so poor.

We had a room for four with a balcony and chairs, which was handy for sitting in the sun and drying clothes. The room was really cozy and nicely decorated, and the hotel itself has lovely regional artwork and decor. The pool is beautiful, with lighting at night, and works well for both adults and kids.
